Men, it’s that time of year again. This Saturday marks the beginning of the annual ritual of fooling fast moving ducks into your decoy spread in hopes of bringing home delicious meat. Have you done your scouting? Built your blinds? Cleaned the shotgun? Because Saturday morning is the opener and the prepared hunter usually becomes the successful hunter.
Minnesota has 3 primary zones for waterfowl hunting (north, central, and southern). Each zone has a slightly different season, however, hunters throughout the state all get a crack at ducks this Saturday. Both the central and southern zones have a short break in the season starting on October 4th.
